My Mom's Proudest Moments

I believe that my mom's proudest 
Moments when I succeeded even
In those little things
In those big moments when her
Pride was bursting.
Yes, that's my daughter, she would
Say.
I had my disability, but she never
Had her doubts.
Things were hard, but still she
Believed in me.
With her I could share my
Frustrations, tears and my fears
And still mom would beam with
Delight.
She never really saw my disability
She saw me, and in me, she saw
Her sunshine, her daughter.
